What is „quidditch”?
Quidditch is a modern sport for everyone. It combines elements of handball, rugby, dodgeball, wrestling, and more. Since 2014 Polish teams play quidditch under the Polish Quidditch League (PLQ). Currently PLQ consists of 7 teams:
- Black Diamond Silesia Miners
- Łódź Pirates
- Kraków Dragons
- Poznań Capricorns
- SkyWeavers Łódź
- Warsaw Mermaids
- Wrocław Wanderers
PLQ is also responsible for Team Poland attending international events: IQA World Cup and IQA European Games. According to the latest rankings Poland is 11th in Europe and 13th worldwide.
